Research Shows Link Between Seeing Natural Elements and Intellectual Performance

Do you look at nature before you take a test? According to research from the University of Melbourne, you should!

The researchers asked two groups of participants to take a simple test. Halfway through they were given an extremely short break, during which half the group got to look out at a grassy roof, while the other half “enjoyed” a view of a bare concrete roof.

The students that had a look at the grass performed significantly better than the other group. They had less errors and showed superior concentration.

It’s great to see scientific proof for the benefits of natural elements. Read more at The Melbourne Newsroom. Do you notice the benefits when you’ve been in touch with nature? Let us know in the comments!
